Camp Nou half-built: what you can see in 2026, what it costs and how to get there

Since 10 March 2026 the Spotify Camp Nou has had a capacity of 62,652 spectators, after the north stand opened; the third tier and the roof are still under construction, with the roof scheduled for summer 2027. The simplest visit, the Barça Immersive Tour, costs from 28 euros and includes the museum and a viewpoint over the works.

Camp Nou is one of the most searched places in Barcelona and, at the same time, one of the ones that has changed most in recent years. Barça's stadium is being rebuilt with matches inside it: today it is played in, visited and still being built, all at once. For someone spending a few months in the city, it's worth knowing where the works stand before deciding what to see and when.

Where the works stand in 2026

On 10 March 2026 the City Council granted the licence that allowed the north stand to open. With it, capacity rose from 45,401 to 62,652 spectators. The licence covers the first and second tiers. The club announced that all north stand seats would go to members and that it would have to process 14,000 new season tickets, priced from 160 to 264 euros.

What's left is what you see most from outside: the third tier and the roof. At the end of March 2026 the press reported that the third tier had no firm opening date and that roof installation was scheduled for summer 2027, with timelines that the club and the engineers didn't calculate the same way. So if you're staying in Barcelona until then, you'll see cranes at the stadium for your whole stay.

The tours: from the museum to the pitch

The club offers several ways to visit the Spotify Camp Nou, with prices starting from:

Barça Immersive Tour, from 28 euros: the museum, a digital audio guide and a viewpoint over the works. It's the basic option and makes most sense if you just want to get an idea. Museum Flexible, from 38 euros, valid until 28 February 2027: the same museum with an open date, useful if you live here and don't want to tie yourself to one day. Total Experience, from 52 euros, adds the Robokeeper and the virtual reality experience.

Spotify Camp Nou Experience, from 69 euros, includes a panoramic view of the stadium, with guided sessions in Catalan, Spanish and English between 10:00 and 12:00 and at 14:00. The Match Day Tour, from 149 euros, gives access to the main competition areas and a walk on the pitch. There is also a visit to the Ciutat Esportiva training ground, from 99 euros, and the Barça Sky Tour, from 214 euros.

Full timetables are published on the club's official website, and it's worth checking them before you go because they change with the match and works calendar.

Going to a match

With the north stand reserved for members, the share of capacity on general sale is smaller than in a finished stadium. If you want to see a match during your stay, check the tickets section of the club's official website as soon as the fixtures come out, and be wary of unofficial resale.

Getting there

The stadium has plenty of transport around it. By metro, L3 has Palau Reial, Les Corts, Zona Universitària and Maria Cristina stations; L5, Collblanc, Badal and Ernest Lluch; L9 Sud and L10, Collblanc; and L9 Sud also Zona Universitària.

Trams T1, T2 and T3 stop at Avinguda de Xile, Palau Reial, Ernest Lluch, Pius XII, Zona Universitària and Maria Cristina. And buses 7, 33, 52, 54, 67, 113, 175, M12, D20, H6, H8, V1, V3, V5, X43, X79, M14 and M15 stop near the stadium.

For the museum, the entrance is access point 9, on Avinguda de Joan XXIII. For the other tours, the club recommends access points 15, on carrer Arístides Maillol, and 15A, on Travessera de les Corts.

When to go if you live here

The advantage of staying for months is being able to choose the day. A weekday with no match is the simplest for the museum. If you're interested in the works themselves, coming back a few months later lets you see how they progress: the Barça Immersive Tour viewpoint exists precisely because the stadium isn't finished yet.

Checked

Data checked on 15 October 2026 on FC Barcelona's official website (fcbarcelona.com: tours and prices, Spotify Camp Nou Experience timetable, access and transport on non-match days), on 3Cat (licence 1C of 10 March 2026, capacity and north stand season tickets) and in the newspaper Ara (20 March 2026 article on the timelines for the third tier and the roof). Construction timelines change often: check the club's website before you go.
