Mirador Torre Glòries tickets are sold on its official website: the general ticket costs 18 euros online, 22 euros with Cloud Cities, and 3 euros more at the ticket office. Children aged 0 to 12 go free with the general ticket. From 1 November to 31 March it opens from 10:00 to 18:30 and is closed on Tuesdays.
The colourful tower you can see from almost anywhere in Barcelona has been open to visitors since 2022: on the 30th floor, 125 metres up, there is a glass dome looking over the whole city, and hanging inside it, a sculpture you can climb through. Here is what it costs, who goes free, when it opens and how to get there, taken from the mirador's official website and checked in October 2026.
What the mirador is
Torre Glòries, formerly Torre Agbar, is the work of Jean Nouvel with b720 Arquitectos. According to the mirador's website, it opened on 16 September 2005 and is 144 metres tall. It has belonged to Merlin Properties since January 2017, and the mirador opened to the public on 20 May 2022, according to Wikipedia.
The visit has two parts. First comes the Hipermirador Barcelona: five installations fed with real-time data from the city, including 132 paper figures by Joan Sallas and XiaoXian Huang devoted to Barcelona's non-human neighbours and a soundtrack by Maria Arnal and John Talabot that shifts with the temperature, the wind or the moon. Then a lift takes you to the 30th floor, 125 metres up, into a dome where you can walk all the way round the city: the Sagrada Família close by, Collserola, Montjuïc, the sea and, on very clear days, the Montseny.
Cloud Cities: the sculpture you climb through
Hanging beneath the dome is Cloud Cities Barcelona, by the artist Tomás Saraceno. The official website describes it as his only permanent installation in Europe: 113 spaces joined by 6 kilometres of tensioned cable, which you move through by climbing up, down and sliding along. It is not included in the general ticket.
It comes with rules: from age 8, with under-13s accompanied by an adult; closed shoes, comfortable clothes and no skirts; personal belongings go in lockers and phones are only allowed attached to a strap provided by staff. Pregnant women and people with vertigo, claustrophobia, heart conditions or reduced mobility, among other conditions, cannot go in. You have a maximum of 30 minutes inside. The rest of the visit is accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Ticket prices
On the tickets page, checked in October 2026, the general ticket costs 18 euros bought online (a crossed-out price of 21 is shown) and includes the Hipermirador and the mirador. The general ticket with sculpture, which adds Cloud Cities, costs 22 euros. The Open Date ticket, at 20 euros, lets you go any day and time within 6 months, subject to capacity.
Children aged 0 to 12 go free with the general and Open Date tickets; with the sculpture, those aged 8 to 12 pay 6 euros. Senior and youth groups pay 15 euros for the general ticket and 18 with the sculpture; for the Open Date, 17 for seniors and 15 for young people. The website does not say from what age you count as senior or young, so it is worth asking. At the ticket office everything costs 3 euros more per person, and you can pay in cash or by card. You do not need to print your ticket.
Can you get in free? Discounts
Free entry is only for under-13s with the general or Open Date ticket: the website does not advertise any open day. For residents, the Biblioteques de Barcelona library card gives a 20 % discount on admission, according to the official discount leaflet updated in November 2025; how to get one is explained in our library card guide.
Beyond that there are one-off offers the mirador announces on its blog: in 2026 there was 50 % off during the Llum BCN festival, from 6 to 8 February, a 2-for-1 for La Mercè, and Cloud Cities at no extra cost on summer Tuesdays. They are not fixed, so check before you buy.
